Jennifer Fang MS
Hi there! I’m Jennifer, a marriage and family therapist intern who is working toward licensure. I received my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. I have spent the last year working at Stronghold Counseling as a student intern and have returned as a post-graduate intern as I work toward licensure.
My passion is working with couples, families, and individuals to help them heal, grow, and connect with not only themselves, but the relationships surrounding them. I believe we are meant to create relationships, and to connect with others. As we travel down this journey we call life, we may experience hardship, loss, relationship difficulties, and inner struggles, which can impact our chapters within our story. My passion is in helping you rewrite, start, and close chapters within your story by listening to your journey and empowering you to process the challenges that you have or are facing.
A commitment to therapy can take us down a path of healing, growth, and connection. My approach to therapy is collaborative and from a curious and solution-focused stance. My job is not to judge you, or your relationships, it is to help you. Therefore, in therapy I commit to providing an environment that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming.
I work with individuals, couples, and families to address concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, betrayal/infidelity, attachment issues, sexual issues, addiction, and parenting issues, etc.
When I am not working, I enjoy being active on my fitness journey, traveling with my family, and attending conferences to continue my professional development.
If you’re looking for a therapist that strives to help you feel heard, seen, and understood. I am here to help!
